OUR GOAL
“It takes a village.” Children thrive when educators, families and the community collaborate. The goal is to nurture independent, confident, and empathetic children who are prepared to be thoughtful citizens. Learning environments are crafted to inspire curiosity, exploration, and connection among children and adults, focusing on play-based learning, positive interactions, and environments that support physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth. Educators incorporate storytelling, mentorship, and cultural elements to help children build a sense of belonging.
A PARENT'S STORY
I have two children on two opposite ends of the spectrum - one is shy & timid and the other is outgoing and rambunctious. The staff at Kids in the Village have done a phenomenal job getting to know them for who they truly are and meeting them exactly where they are at developmentally. During times our children have gone through behavior changes, staff at Kids in the village have worked as a team with us as parents to discuss the issues & develop a plan to mitigate any ongoing issues. This was easily done as there is open communication between kids in the village and the parents / guardians of the children who receive care. Our family is truly blessed to say that having kids in the village as our childcare provider is like having a whole other family to look after our children while we are working. Some of my children’s very favorite people are staff at KITV, which is a testimony in itself especially having a kiddo who may have a hard time earning her trust.
